Dehmann was born in Hamburg and studied there until 1910 when he went to Paris to study. He also studied in Italy; in 1920 he moved to Dštlingen. In 1939 he came to New York. He lived in Brewster, NY at the end of his life. With original label from Randolph Galleries, NYC.
